Begin with the decision you need to make
The recording’s description introduces a conversation about data and business growth. Elaine’s website also describes helping smaller businesses make sense of their information and use it to support decisions. Before watching, choose a real question: which work is worth repeating, where time is being lost or whether your follow-up is effective. Identify what you already know and what you are assuming. A larger collection of reports is not necessarily the answer if nobody can explain what they mean. This article introduces the session and provides a preparation exercise, rather than claiming to reproduce Elaine’s complete approach. Write down one question you would like to explore and use the replay to begin a more focused conversation.
Three actions to try
- Choose one business decision that currently feels unclear.
- List the information you trust and the gaps you need to check.
- Watch the session and record a useful question or next action.
