Choose the result before counting the activity
The description challenges the habit of continuing with posts that are not working. Define the purpose of a particular post: answer a question, explain a service or encourage a relevant enquiry. Then choose a way to judge that purpose. A post that reaches fewer people but generates a useful conversation may serve the business better than broad attention with no connection to your offer. Review the subject, message and next step together. Do not draw a firm conclusion from one post; use a sensible period and compare like with like. The aim is to learn what helps, not remove every activity that fails to sell immediately. Some content supports understanding and trust before someone is ready to contact you.
Three actions to try
- Write down the purpose of your next post.
- Choose a result that fits that purpose.
- Review patterns and improve the message or next step.
