A roadside assistance app could collect a request, locate a suitable provider and keep the customer informed. It must clearly explain the service's coverage and what to do where an immediate emergency response is needed.
Requests need relevant vehicle details, a safe location description and the type of assistance required. Provider acceptance, estimated arrival and completion should be separate stages. Staff need a route for requests that cannot be fulfilled automatically.
Start with a defined service and area, supported by an actual provider network. Test poor connectivity, an inaccurate location and a provider withdrawing. The app should not promise that every breakdown can be resolved remotely or that a displayed arrival estimate replaces direct contact when circumstances change.
