A business account can let authorised staff book journeys against an organisation while keeping passenger details and billing references organised. Account approval and spending permissions need to be established before allowing travel on credit.
Bookings could require a cost centre, purchase reference or manager approval. Completed journeys should pass into invoice preparation with a clear history of adjustments. The operator needs to distinguish invoiced, disputed and paid amounts rather than treating every completed trip as settled.
Pilot with one business customer and its actual approval process. Test an employee leaving, a cancelled journey and a corrected fare. An accounting connection may reduce re-entry, but ownership of customer records and reconciliation responsibilities should be agreed before integration is scoped.
