A fishing club could use a digital system to show permit entitlements, planned closures and any bookable sessions. The design needs to reflect whether access is unrestricted, capacity-limited or allocated by specific waters and times.
Catch reports could be optional member submissions with controls over publication. Clubs may not want exact locations for sensitive species or private waters displayed openly. A permit check should show current entitlement without exposing unnecessary member details.
Start with one water and document guest permits, renewals and temporary restrictions. Test what a bailiff can verify when mobile reception is poor. Availability information should be maintained by an authorised person, because an attractive map is not useful if a member arrives at a water that has been closed.
