A league system could connect fixture planning with result submission and competition administration. However, public results and sensitive disciplinary information need different permissions and different approval processes.
Clubs might submit a score while an authorised league official confirms it. Rearranged fixtures need a history showing who changed the date and why. Disciplinary records should be restricted to appropriate officials, with rules for retention and correction defined by the competition.
Before building, check whether an existing governing-body platform already provides the required functions or data connection. Map one competition's actual rules rather than assuming all leagues operate alike. Test disputed results, abandoned matches and rescheduled fixtures alongside normal match weeks; those cases reveal whether the system supports administration rather than merely displaying a table.
